Greeting in the mighty name of God,

I am taking this opportunity to tell you how the ministry is going, here in Haiti. God has been so good to us, he has been leading us in a very good way with his people. So before I go on, I think it’s important that I emphasis on how thankful we all are to the people that have put their hands together to keep the ministry alive. The lord has been good to us and we have had many good things happening.  And I would love to share some of these awesome news with you.

So far the Church is doing great but as Jesus says in the bible “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” (Matthew 16:24) But it’s not an easy thing to do most of the time and especially in the church location in Haiti; But with God all things are possible.

One of the greatest things that happened this year, was the fact that we had men and woman of God come down to Haiti and organized a medical clinic which provided the people with medical, dentistry and eye support. It was heartbreaking to see how many sick people came forward. The medical Team saw hundreds and hundreds of people in both churches. My Heart Felt heavy to see so many people in pain but realized that there was only love in these churches. For the patients that came to seek medical help and found the lord, it was love taking over them. And for the Volunteer coming out of their way to help strangers that they had never meet before, it was love guiding their steps. I thanked the lord in the moments like these where love is conquering over pain.

My hope in life is to see a new generation of people here in Haiti, a generation that will fight for the lord and help change Haiti; that is the reason why I got involved in education. This year we have been blessed to see the fruits of our actions, with the help of Pastor Mark (GFBC) who help us set up a program where the farmers that we’ve help with fertilizers have given us back some of their crops to help feed the children.

We were blessed to have enough rice to feed the kids for the whole year. And with another program we were help the farmers with their beans plantation and they were kind enough to give back enough for us to feed the kids for a years also. Currently we have enough rice and been to feed the kids till September/October of 2015.

We are going to need more support and prays to keep this program alive for another years.

As for the school, I’m glad to say that we’ve had a very good scholastic years with the help of our awesome teacher. Our school took part in several multi-subject scholastic competitions, and came out victorious.

We also started out own adult school program, were adults from ages 50 and up are learning how to read and write. Better late than never is what I think. It’s never too late to seek knowledge and to try to better yourself.

We are starting to see some changes within the families that came to their lord and some people that know that lord come back into to church. We’ve seen the lord touch a lot of hearts. Specially in Souvenance which is known for being “voodoo” central, we’ve seen a lot of noticeable differences.  Recently some friends in the Rotary Clubs in Gardendale and Decatur Alabama came and brought the community a new well and a water filtering system and along with that they taught a seminar on Sanitation and Hygiene, sharing with the community on how to keep themselves and their loved one from getting sick.

We hope and believe with all are hearts that one day Souvenance will shift from being “voodoo “central to “Gospel“ Central.

We pray that God will a continue His blessing in this work we are doing here.

May God bless All of you.
