The teachers have dedicated themselves to sharing their lives with the next generation, not only helping them with knowledge and understanding but to know that God has a special purpose for each one of them. They are the future of Haiti! Icy Mae would be proud of these men and women and the part they are playing in the vision God gave her for this remote rural village.
We appreciate the help that Kerron Cadet has given in translating the teachers words so that we can see their heart and passion for the children of Petite Riviere.

Saintanier Merat – Administrator
Saintanier Merat is 51 years old and is the Administrator of the Holy Bible Church School. He has been in this position for 26 years!
Saintaner’s desire is to shape proper Haitian citizens!
Ernsy Jean
Ernsy Jean is 54 years old and has been teaching 23 years! His specialty is mathematics and he is a science of education graduate.
Ernsy’s desire is to contribute to the development of the nation of Haiti. A nation can not experience any progress without an education.
Wilner Lafontant Jules
Wilner Lafontant Jules is 43 and has 21 years experience teaching and he teaches 5 subjects from the 1st to 2nd grade level. Wilner is E.N.I. Graduate.
Wilner states that “I teach because I strongly believe that the future of humanity lies within the hands of the youth”!
Lothe Previl
Lothe Previl is 44 years of age. He has been teaching 18 years and teaches Literature and Social Sciences. Lothe has a Law License and a Science of Education certificate.
Lothe wants to contribute to the change of the education system, because education is the motor of all change.
Claudy Romain
Claudy Romain is 37 and has been teaching 15 years. The subject he teaches is mathematics. Claudy is a Graduate.
Amerique Mergius
Amerique Mergius is 33 years old and has been teaching for 4 years, teaching 1st grade level subjects. He is a U.N.C.H. graduate.
Amerique wants to help children prepare for life through educational, intellectual, moral, physical and spiritual matters!
Gardine Garcon
Gardine Garcon is 31 years old and has been teaching for 6 years in preschool subjects.
Gardine wants put her knowledge for the help of the community she lives in!

Hebreux Dalphinis is 33 years old and has been teaching for 8 years and teaches 5 subjects from the 1st through 2nd grade level. He is a E.N.I. graduate.

Mirlande Dervil is 31 years old and has been teaching for 8 years and teaches preschool subjects.

Mativita Mac Goffie is 36 years old and has been teaching subjects in the 1st through 2nd grade level for 5 years.

Louider Previl is 33 years old and has been teaching Literature for 8 years. He is Certified which is a master’s degree equivalent.
Louider’s hope is to promote a excellent Haitian education!
Velinot Pierre Louis
Velinot Pierre Louis is 27 years old and has been teaching Chemisty for 3 years. He is an administrative Science Graduate.
Velinot’s passion is to put his knowledge in the service of the Haitian nation!
Anocles Honorat
Anocles Honorat is 29 years old and has been teaching for 6 years. He teaches English, Spanish, French and Physical education.
Anocles wants to participate in the formation of the youth, to watch them blossom at the educational level.
Serge Amos Brutus
Serge Amos Brutus is 32 years old and has been teaching for 4 years. He teaches Social Sciences, French and Creole.

Jean Enock Gedeus
Jean Enock Gedeus is 26 years old and has been teaching 4 years. He teaches Social Sciences, Creole and Biology. He is currently a student at Ecole Normale and is a Journalist and Technician.
Jean Enock is teaching for the purpose of integrating a new formula in the education system for my fellow young Haitian students, on a spiritual, intellectual, social and moral level!
Juslyn Ceron
Juslyn Ceron is 29 years old and has been teaching for 4 years, and he teaches French. He has a Bachelor of Law degree.
Juslyn wants to help the community and improve his financial situation.
Jonas Alexandre
Jonas Alexandre is 36 years old and has been teaching for 16 years. He teaches Mathematics and Physics and is a graduate in the Sciences of Education.

Frantzy Derice is 29 and has 3 years teaching experience. She teaches all subjects of primary school grade levels. She is a graduate of L’ecole d’auxiliaire.
