In May of 2012 a team from Gardendale went to the Holy Bible Church to help the mission with the addition of a new classroom, a basketball court and a chicken coop! the purpose of the chicken coop is to provide fresh eggs, both to sell and to use when teams are present.
The classroom was needed because of the growth of the school in adding a 9th grade to the curriculum.
Basketball is loved in Haiti, but there was no place to play in Petite Riviere. So a court was built along along with playground equipment for the kids to play on. The concrete was barely dry before everything was being used.
The chicken was built by our team of chicken experts and eight layers were purchased for the project. And they wasted no time in producing eggs!
The purpose for all that we do is to have an opportunity to share Jesus and to show the love of Jesus through our words and our love for the people of Haiti. These pictures tell more than our words, so we will let them speak to you. God Bless you for helping us to help these.
