Your regular gifts provide for the daily operation of the Holy Bible Church and School. Your donations sustain the programs and teaching salaries of almost 600 children in kindergarten through the 10th grade. Your faithfulness provides the foundation on which additional ways to minister can be identified and more can be reached in the Name of Jesus. In addition to your regular giving we are providing below a list of projects and ministries that churches and Rotary International Clubs have been able to complete with Elise Cadet and the Here Am I ministry in Haiti. This list is not exhaustive but attempts to list the major projects these partnerships have been able to provide assistance is as follows:
June, 2010
- A vision/planning trip to identify needs and future ministry teams
- Visit to the church in Souvenance
- Installed Hydraid Bio-sand water filters for the school
September, 2010
- Completion of the church building in Souvenance
- Installation of the Living Waters for the World Ozone filtration system at Holy Bible School/Church
- Books for the HolyBibleSchool
- Judy dolls for the children at an orphanage close to the HolyBibleChurch
- Survey of villagers around the school identifying medical, sanitation and hygiene needs
January, 2011
- A new Kubota 11,000 watt diesel generator for the church/school in Petite Riviere
May, 2011 – Mission Project and Rotary Water Project
- Installation of 30 Hydraid bio-sand filters for the Souvenance community
- Painting of the school building
- A new roof for the church in Petite Riviere
- A month’s worth of rice and beans along with basic toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap) for an orphanage close to the school

- Cots for the orphanage close to the school
October, 2011 – Rotary Water Project
- 60 Hydraid bio-sand water filtration project in St Marc area, Thomasdeau and Nan Jonc funded by Decatur Daybreak and Gardendale Rotary Clubs

- 700 Shoes for the school kids at Holy Bible School and also for an orphanage close to the school
- Another New Classroom for the Holy Bible School
- Installation of new all steel basketball goal and post
- 2nd Timothy Pastoral training class at Holy Bible Church

- Rotary International Water Project in mountains above Miragoene, installing 30 Hydraid bio-sand filters and Sawyer bucket filters
Feb, 2013
- Over 450 Haitians treated in the medical clinic
- Over 200 pairs of shoe given to the children
- Concrete floored poured in the church at Souvenance
- Porches built for HolyBibleChurch and Souvenance
- A family of goats purchased
- And over 32 decision made for Jesus Christ
- plus another church coming along side the ministry – Flint River Baptist Church
As you can see, GFBC, Flint River Baptist Church and the District 6860 Rotary clubs (North Alabama) have made significant additional inroads in the ministry in this area of Haiti as a result of our relationship with the Holy Bible Church, the Christian School and more specifically and through Elise Cadet. Elise has not only been our contact, but has coordinated within the communities, our work with church planting, water purification, construction and relief work. This has significantly helped the people of these communities.
They have benefited with cleaner sources of water, improved worship facilities, books and uniforms for the school, food and sleeping cots for the orphanage, and Biblical training for church members and pastors, and the love and affection of the believers that have visited from the USA. Hopefully in the near future, completion of the Medical Clinic started by Icymae Federick will be brought to completion. This will allow for periodic medical teams from the US to partner with the medical personnel to aid in the health of the area.
